Yellow- Janni Visman

I read it in a day- it’s a short book (only 173 pages) and I think I read it too quickly to fully appreciate all the imagery and metaphors and the like. But then again, I stopped reading books for the imagery after fall semester senior year in high school. I’m positive if I read this more carefully, I would have enjoyed it much more. It has an interesting premise and I was pleasantly surprised by the ending- not to mention I was cheering on the protagonist (always a plus for me). All in all, a good way to kick off the project!
